Being Seen
This series looks at what it means to be seen — and who gets to be seen — in contemporary culture.
In a culture shaped by social media, visibility often feels like currency. Being photographed isn’t just documentation; it’s participation. Presence is performed, shared, and measured.
During Milan Fashion Week, this dynamic becomes especially visible. Outside the shows, the street turns into its own stage. Photographers, spectators, security, and those hoping to be photographed all play a role in a quiet choreography of attention.
Produced between 2023 and 2025. Ongoing project.
