After the Wall

More than three decades after its fall, the Berlin Wall persists—not as a barrier, but as a backdrop to everyday life. In this series, fragments of the Wall are encountered, photographed, and passed by, as collective memory shifts from monument to motif, from lived trauma into the texture of daily life.

Photographed in 2023 and 2024 - ongoing project.
